What would TNG today?

The other day, opening the television, I came across an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. was an episode where a telepath Troy used to elicit energy.

Looking at this issue, I came to ask my question: What would TNG if it had been established in (say) 2007 instead of 1987?

Since Battlestar Galactica 2003, there is more pure-hearted hero. All the characters have skeletons in the closet of goals or a small secret perversion!

Here's what the characters would look like if the series had been created today:

• Will Ryker would not be the first officer because he likes to be second best on the flagship of the fleet rather than being the captain of a secondary . Her mishap aboard the Pegasus would have created problems that have marred his record. Naturally, Ryker would smoke a cigar during the poker games and have a tattoo.
• Deanna Troy would not only have had a past relationship with Ryker, but it would also be wrong with a woman, which would explain why he had left that way.
• Wesley Crusher , would not only be a small engineering service. It would also have difficulty accepting his homosexuality, even in the world of what tolerance Star Trek. He would live a secret passion for Worf does not return her affection.
• Beverley Crusher not live only a platonic relationship with the captain, but she also felt guilty because he was the best friend of her deceased spouse. It would have a little problem with alcohol that would be difficult to meet with synthetic alcohol!

• Worf have a little more difficult to restrain his aggressive impulses. They would be often drunk with Beverley, causing some jealousy on the part of Picard, Worf even seems interested in Deanna. Worf would have ambition, and he would be willing to do anything for a promotion.
• Data is the only character who could remain the same except there would be more than one that would check if it is "fully functionalism".
