Synopsis We
2097, music by country disappeared under the waters, Belgium no longer exists and racism is a distant memory. However, like others before them, Mr. and Dr. Manajeur believe that multiculturalism has failed to innovate and offer students a new model of society based on the mistakes of their ancestors.
Experience the life of these "strange fruit (r) s" as Billie Holiday sang it yesterday. You will witness the racism and discrimination from time immemorial to the present day, through small skits or comedy full of emotion, and discover the sneaky plan of Mr. Manajeur and his sidekick ...
Creating original theatrical "Strange fruit (r)" depicts situations of social exclusion, prejudice, discrimination, issues of migration and diversity, drawing on the humor, emotion , analysis and empathy. Based on the technique of street theater, writing was made from real experiences, fictitious or imagined participants in the project, they are discriminatory and / or discriminated against, racist and / or racialized routine or ordinary citizens. Throughout the piece, Racism as it was yesterday, as it is today and as it could be tomorrow is put into perspective with the aim to put a fresh look at his real nature.
