This seminar seeks to define the issues and practices of contemporary poetry on the assumption that it can be understood in a limited framework for the national language and medium text. The first sequence will be devoted to the study of three notable works: The disbeliever Denis Roche Thirty-one of the cube Jacques Roubaud and objects contain the infinite Claude Royet-Journoud. We then try to situate contemporary poetry in French-speaking international landscape, with emphasis on its relationship with the English and American poetry, on a comparison with Italian poetry, and the presence of Paul Celan .
